Tucson Festival of Books 2026
Dates: Saturday, March 14 – Sunday, March 15, 2026
Location: University of Arizona Campus, Tucson, Arizona
I’m honored to be attending the Tucson Festival of Books on the University of Arizona campus. This year’s festival is especially meaningful to me because I’ll be participating alongside an incredible group of adoptee authors at the Adoptee Authors Exhibitor Booth, coordinated with the support of editor and producer Diane Shifflett of Rainy Day Freelance.
This booth centers adoptee voices and creates space for honest conversations about identity, truth, and lived experience.
My book, CONNECTED: Finding My Truth, was selected for the Indie Author Experience. I’ll be signing books and meeting readers on Sunday, March 15, from 1:30–4:30 PM, in the Adult Fiction & Nonfiction Pavilion.

Untangling Our Roots Conference 2026, Atlanta
I am honored to be featured as a UTOR Speaker Spotlight and to participate in the Untangling Our Roots Conference, taking place March 19 to 22, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia.
On March 20 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM ET, I will join fellow panelists for:
The Last to Know: How to Heal from Late Discovery
Finding out later in life that you were adopted or have unexpected biological relatives can reshape everything you thought you knew about yourself. This powerful panel brings together voices from across the late discovery experience to explore the emotional journey of shock, grief, identity reconstruction, reunion and non-reunion, and ultimately healing.
Panelists will share personal stories, insights, and approaches to self-understanding after a life-changing DNA discovery. Attendees will gain perspective, validation, and community as they navigate what it means to redefine family, identity, and belonging.
Late discovery changes everything. Healing is possible. I am deeply grateful to be part of this important conversation and to connect with others who share similar journeys.
